Tamron 28-75/2.8 or maybe the 18-35 I have on the way. Subject matter will depend on what is available.

The prototype had an FA31 on it, right?
Not certain. I've seen a couple mock ups so far and they were both different. It's no use speculating as they could surprises us with something entirely new in lend mounts.

A fiddy says it'll be K-mount, Chippedoff (just seeing if you believe your own skeptism) - waddaya say?

I even take Diners Card. :-)

On second thoughts, it's a fight for me between my Rikenon 55mm f/1.2 and my radioactive Super Takumar 50mm f/1.4 - fastest lens, or hottest? Decisions, decisions...

I'm mostly looking forward to seeing just how many (if any, depending on the firmware allowances) of the DA lenses perform well on this FF digi body. That and watching to see if lens prices change..

Mount on ff

Want to use my beautiful silver 77 limited and start getting more use from it because of shorter effective focal length, maybe even be able to use it inside more without backing up as much.

For me, it would be the Pentax 30/2.8 followed soon after by the Vivitar Series 1 90-180mm flat-field zoom. Both old, manual focus lenses but both super sharp and great color rendition. These two would provide a great test of the camera's capability.

Sigma EX 50, and probably either my co-photographers at Driv, or whatever band is playing that night.

Who among us would dare to put on a DA lens, just to see what the camera did with it? I'm betting most of us would use a lens we know will be recognised as/default to full frame.

(I imagine older lenses, the ones which send no data to the camera, would have to default to full-frame - there's no other reasonable way to handle them, since they all pre-date APS-C.)

Sure, I would want to see my best FF lens first but soon after I would try out the DAs which I am certain will work fine on FF (having used them for some time on A7II and A7RII). It will be great to have these lenses and the FA ltds autofocus again on FF. The only risk is that Pentax will hobble the camera so crop mode lenses can only be used in crop mode. That would probably be a deal killer for me.
