What's the first lens you would mount on your new FF Pentax DSLR?

You ordered a body-only kit of the released announced FF body. It arrived. After unpacking the camera and inserting the half charged battery inside you must choose a lens from your collection to mount on it.

Which lens would you pick?

What will you photograph as IMGP0001.DNG/PEF/JPG?

Remember, you only have one chance at doing either of those two thing for the first time!

Personally, I would mount my FA 77mm Limited and take a picture of the nearest family member.

Tamron 90mm f2.8 macro, and whatever of interest I can find in my garden at the time (insect, spider, flower). [My wife refuses to let me take pictures of her ... presumably in case I capture her soul.]

My Ricoh XR Rikenon 50 f1.7, which I bought new in the early 1980's.

It was the kit lens on my Ricoh XR2s, which was my first K-mount camera. Seems fitting to use this lens to take the maiden photo of a new Ricoh/Pentax FF.

I'd take a photo of a family member.

A* 85 F1.4. Hands down. No question. Wife in her element. If she were not available my dog is a likely next subject, unless of course one of my lovely daughters happened to be here.

DA15, in FF mode. Then anything else that might be suspected of vignetting. For knowledge, fun & effect.
First picture? A cat, of course! I thought that was going to be in the new Pentax Owners Manuals.

Holy cow! How did you end up with that combo of a lens? That's awesome!

I want to see the FA31 work as a wide angle lens. That would have to be my first.
