The only risk is that Pentax will hobble the camera so crop mode lenses can only be used in crop mode.
I'm pretty sure the howls of outrage that ensued would result in a firmware fix. They probably have it ready to go.

My first lens might be FA 35/2, or FA 77. Most propably subjekt will be something on my kitchen table, because that's where it will be opened from the box..

Helios 44K-4,
then supertak 50mm f1.4, then auto vivitar 20mm f 3.8 (and all vivitars I have) , then my pentax-M lenses, then DA 70mm ltd....

Where is that damn FF already?

Probably one of my two long macros: Voigtlander 125mm APO Macro or Pentax SMCA ED 200 f4 macro. Both lenses intended for FF and their significant IQ virtues are probably best uncropped. The same subject framing should be recorded with more detail and sharper on FF.

After I paid for the FF camera body, I would be stuck with the lenses I currently own. I sold many of my FF lenses, therefore the first mounted lens would likely be my beloved and versatile KA 50 1.8. You can trust that I would shortly thereafter try every K-mount lens I have just to see what happens.

The real question for FF: what advantages does it offer over APS-C? I suspect the primary advantages will be 1) uncropped images will have more detail, be sharper; 2) lower noise at higher ISO. The latter also translates into using higher ISO to get higher shutter speeds, thus reducing blur, with no loss of color or detail from increased noise. For some of my macro shots this could be a blessing. So many times I've set up on something like a spider web in the early AM, with apparently no wind, then found the web strands unacceptably blurred even at TVs of 1/30 - 1/60. The majority of museums & churches (cathedrals) do not allow tripods, monopods, or flash (reasonably enough). Having a usable ISO 12,500 or 25,000 would be wonderful.

I would mount these without hesitation:

1. Zeiss T*Planar 85/1.4 ... that would be the first one and then ...
2. FA 31 Ltd
3. Cosina 55/1.2
4. Vivitar 135/2.8 Close Focus

But since I will not buy a FF camera ... they likely will all go for sale when this Pentax FF hits the market.

You ordered a body-only kit of the released announced FF body. It arrived. After unpacking the camera and inserting the half charged battery inside you must choose a lens from your collection to mount on it. Which lens would you pick?
The first lens I mounted on my Sony A7 II was the FA31 Ltd. Needless to say, the results were spectacular, IMO.

I originally said I'd use the 50mm. F1.4 first, but on second thoughts, I did buy a Sigma 12-24 4.5-5.6 because of the aps crop factor, so I'm thinking it will be interesting to see how that looks through an FF DSLR viewfinder. I have tried it on an old Pentax K - but I didn't take any shots. Might be a bit dark around the edges!

Line them all up in order, and then with each, take a photograph of the next; with the last, take a photograph of the first.

FA Limited 31mm. Probably the carpet or couch as I accidentally hit the shutter release while adjusting settings.

My main draw would be the three amigos but I really want to see how the 55/1.4 DA* compares to the 58/1.4 that I use on my D750. If it matches or exceeds what I can get now then I have no need for the Nikon. But that AF better be up to par. The D750s AF is game changing for wide open shooting.
