Just because.....

Scaled to the front dial wheel and lens release button and centered around the latter. I know its only a prototype

It seems to be taller but not quite as wide as the K-3.

Interesting, main thing to me is the grip looks a little taller as my little finger tends to fall off the bottom on current bodies, my only real concern with the handling of my old K-7 (and K-5/K-3 I guess).

If the scale is the same then this looks very promising. A bit bigger than the K-3 for a more comfortable grip without being too bulky.

Depth likely isn't too much greater than the k-3 either. If it ends up that size, the Pentax FF will be amazingly compact for a full frame. The k-3 is really compact for what it offers already.

Its not as easy as you have the front of the 31mm lens instead of the mount (perspective) I thought the front dial and lens release would be more reliable. Also the IR receiver is the same size too (and position in relation to the lens release)

I think you are closer.
I would expect it to be taller but width wise to be the same or similar. Taller and deeper most probably.

I agree with this too.
The mirror box is probably a better reference point (unchanged since film cameras)

Size does seem impressive.....

Thanks for both images. They look reasonable, showing the expected big increase in prism size.

I had another look at it, and it could well be bigger than I showed, really depending on the reference point.

considering the actual dimmensions K3 (131x100x77mm), the Pentax FF prototype seems smaller than the Nikon D750 (141x113x78mm).
