I will not buy the Pentax FF if I am more than two months in arrears on my mortgage.

- I do not finish the current roll of film in the LX,
- I do not finish the current roll of film in the MX,
- I do not finish the current roll of film in the SPF,
- I do not finish the current roll of film in other brand film FF's ...

Where I come from THAT is going to cost you money. Rather buy one on the sly. If she is not into cameras, she might not note the difference

would there be any benefit compared to K-3? Am I wrong supposing that first 36Mpx+ you'll get more from FF than from APS-C (K-3 resolution)?
Well, you wouldn't get any more resolution, but you'd benefit from the larger sensor, meaning about a stop better low light performance and a bit more control over depth of field (and my Limited lenses would have their native FoV). I'd prefer 36 Mpx: not sure I'd want 50, but I wouldn't be put off by that.

Lets see....If I run out of peanut butter and jelly ? That's all I will be eating for a while to afford it...lol
Seriously....Just as the K3 went to the huge 24mp sensor.........If the FF has an overly massive serving of pickles....Im possibly going to pass. I hope they keep it to about 36mp max.

So if it does you'll bye? Get two; bye-bye.

That actually came from the bye bye screw drive thread.

I need to learn that skill of yours. Is it in any way contagious?

Lack of a screw drive would be a huge deal killer. There go most of my lenses which I have wanted to see on FF digital.

It's shown with a screw drive lens mounted, so I'm hoping!

Exactly...that would be ironic. Debut it with a screw drive lens yet not have it available? Highly doubtful.

Also, there were rumors on this board that they had ceased production of the FA limiteds. That seems weird if they did showing this lens.

I will not buy the Pentax FF if it looks and feels similar to the Canikon, even if it costs less.

Given they have the FA 50, FA 35, the 3 FA LTDs and the D FA 50 and D FA 100 on the current roadmap, it is unlikely that the screwdrive would be dropped from the body.
