The question for me is will the FF tether?

So this is a deal breaker for me. Any guesses?

I would hope they implement features from the 645z including the Transmitter 2 tethering but there are no specs yet.

Probably not a deal breaker for me but very high on the want list. Full Lightroom tethering is a must for a pro camera IMHO.

It will almost certainly tether. In our interview, the reps said they're even considering enabling it on the K-3 via a firmware update:

That's particularly good news, and having it enabled on the K-3 would be also welcome, although it makes me wonder why they wouldn't have considered it earlier, if not at the very start of K-3 production. The K-3 with Pentax FLUcard is good in some situations, but it can be a little slow to respond, and transfers aren't feasible unless the files are JPEGs.
