Originally posted by Na Horuk Hm, but some vignetting isn't really a big problem. Many if not all lenses have some degree of vignetting, APSC or FF designs. Luckily, this is fairly easy to correct in-camera or during post processing, and is not really a big problem to begin with (depending on content and genre of photo, of course). In fact, many photographers add some vignetting to their photos for certain styles of PP or subject isolation.
So I wouldn't say that a little vignetting is a dealbreaker. If the edges were completely black, then it would be a problem.
And Pentax will probably release officially-FF lenses soon. Will be interesting to see how different a DFA 300mm will be from the current design
I'm waiting for the D FA 200 2.8. The 200mm, there's a lens that needs an overhaul, and a high speed DC ring motor. Give em that and a 1.4 TC and I have a 300 ƒ4 as well as a 200 2.8.
