Not one message of doom and gloom about Pentax's future? Maybe it's time to buy RICOH stock finally...

This place has been remarkably un-doomy lately. But I think that is starting to wear off, we need a new rumor.

Ricoh doom is being reserved until the FF price and specs are released. People have run out of theoretical complaints. If you're missing the doom, though, Lightroom 6 is rumored to be out real soon and we'll see a lot of complaints directed at Adobe.

I'd be happy if they made the 17-70 a FF.
By the looks of it, the D FA Standard Zoom is going to be a 24-105 f/4, but as usual we won't know until they make the announcement.

Somewhere I saw a list of Pentax lenses capable to fill the whole FF sensor, but I have lost it now.
I tryed my DA 16-45mm on my LX with 97% finder and surprisingly it was goo to fill the finder starting from about 20-21mm, so there might be several lenses with same capability or better.

One idea I got some times ago is that why could not the FF sensor be with slightly other measure, like instead off 24x36mm it could be closer 4/3 with measures like 34,4 x 25,8mm, this sensor would be using the same FF lenses as 24x36mm and it is 2,7% bigger in area.
After using some times m43 system, I feel the picture format far better than the traditional 2/3 which actually came from the limitation of the film. I'm also liking the Pentax 6x7 and that is quite close the 4/3 format, so shouldn we at last start to use available FF lenses with more usefull sensor format. At last you agree.

I hear from people presumably covered by an NDA (and a few who might not be so covered) that not only is the public roadmap not clearly indicative of what is coming, it is not even a complete picture of what is coming.

Of course no one w/could tell me what is coming.

I don't expect anything* we don't already know about this year, but I'd be happy to be proven wrong.
Even so, 2015 is a good year.

* I'm talking about lenses only

You might have your expectations exceeded then. Maybe twice.
