That's a common judgement but as long as we don't know how the FF camera will handle the DA* (non-DFA) lenses, we can't be sure.

Keep the FA limiteds as they are and give me a 24/1.4 and a 135/1.8 :-)

If I was Ricoh I'd sort of be happy if the old FA's weren't FF compatible with SR.....certainly would help new lens sales....I'd also have hinted at this in the lead up to the FF release......(which they have...haven't they?).

I expect the new FF to service 3 lens sub groups.....APSC, Legacy FF (both of these with some compromises) and new DFA Lenses......

If Ricoh should decide to cripple the FAs in this manner, then they lose one key Pentax advantage over Canikon and when that time comes, then I just *might* keep my current Pentax gears, and consider getting an FF Nikon or heaven forbid, Sony, to satisfy the FF lust. There'll be no point buying two versions of the Limited just to ensure stabilization, and I might as well venture beyond the Pentax land.

Keeping them full time on, will not make sense, since this may prove problematic when mounted on a -pod.

You're referring to the 15mm, I think? I had the pleasure of using a friends Heliar 15mm on my A7r a few months ago. Loved everything about it, it's like using the 8mm end of the Sigma 8-16 but without the distortion in the borders.

Ok, more realistic then:
DFA 15mm F4

First of all the new tres amigos: DFA 31, 43 and 77; all with DC, WR, quick shift and 9 circular aperture blades.
Then other three DFA* with very fast aperture 24 f/2, 50 f/1.4 (a new version of the f/1.2 will be a smash hit) and 85 f/1.4

Since I really doubt that there will be a new Pentax shift-lens, at least for awhile, my number one wish would be a D FA 20mm f/4 Limited (pancake with DC if possible) for architecture, streetphotography and landscapes

D FA* 135mm f/2 with DC for potraits (and streetphotography?)

D FA* 500mm f/4 with a proper (= reliable, blazingly fast and accurate) SDM along with all the other goodies for birding
