I saw this this morning also.
It does not say or even imply that the FF will be announced in or before November at all.
All it says is that CRK (Pentax Australia - the official distros) will have more news closer to November.
Pretty irresponsible in my view for Camera Times blog making such a wild claim without any supporting evidence, it is not clever.

It can be interpreted this way, but it should be interpreted as:
"The FF will be announced closer to November. We'll have more product announcements".
IMHO

It does not take much for a rumor to become facts these days.

It could also be interpreted as:
"Tomorrow is closer to November, so the announcement of the FF must happen within 24h!"

This story was also posted in Photo Rumors.

The Pentax distributor in Australia (CRK) did bring the 150-450 to market quickly, so they are worth keeping a close eye on re matters FF.

They are also the longest serving Pentax distributor in the world outside of Japan, apparently. They probably have good connections into the Pentax side of Ricoh.

I wish Ricoh would hurry up and show more of their hand.

A large local retailer has the Nikon D750 at 15% off at the moment [JBHifi - AUD$1954] ... and a few have the Sony A7r at less than $2000 too [eg CameraPro - AUD$1,888].

The competition sure are making it hard to wait until November - or later - for a Pentax FF to appear.

It's easier to wait knowing they will announce it this year

At this point I don't expect to see a FF ship until early 2016. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Sony is definitely making waves. The new 85mm F/1.8 will probably be my next purchase. The 25mm, 35mm, 55mm, & 85mm cover almost all my lens needs. Sony's FF lens lineup will look very good by mid-year and the image quality of the lenses has been spectacular so far.

Again, Ricoh said "market launch by the end of 2015".
While unexpected things can happen, right now there's no reason to "expect" a delay.

P.S. It's nice to know Sony will finally have some sort of a system, 3 years after they introduced the FE. But Pentax will have more lenses from day one - even excluding the old and 3rd-party ones. They will have faster zooms, and lenses covering a larger focal range.
There's no reason for a rushed out launch.

Have I strayed into the Sony forum by mistake? Only one problem with Sony - it's the name on the camera!
