This is my top-list of features I like to have. If not at least 5 of them are included on the upcoming FF I might have to jump ship.

1. On/Off function manually controlled by a switch.
2, Shutter that is engaged by a button on top of the camera.
3, Variable shutter speed that can be manually set, but also set to auto,
4, Aperture that can be manually controlled on the camera, but also set to auto.
5. Variable ISO that also have a auto function.
6. Exposure compensation function that can be used when shutter speed, aperture or ISO is set to auto,

That's a tough set of criteria.

Registers the full image circle of all K-series lenses. Everything else is gravy.

pull cord to start camera and a backup handcrank that tucks away in the side when not in use.

A serious request, for Pentax cameras in general, is to have a 5 second timer. I feel 2 is too short and 12 is often too long. 5 seconds would be an ideal time. That or simply give us the option of choosing the time amount 1-12 seconds.

Well, smaller than a horse sensor, that's for sure!

At full size you could just make contact prints like the old days from huge negs.

Better video quality:
There should be at least one compression setting that won't have compression artifacts, no matter how challenging the scene. How they achieve I don't care. MJPEG, h264, ... Also no moire/aliasing, Nikon can do it with the same hardware.

Properly stabilized video, without a crop. I don't care if it sounds bad, if necessary I'll get an external microphone.

Add Fn button, which can be set to work like the istDS... focus selection always active, press Fn and then up etc. for WB etc. If they don't do that, one AF sensor is enough.

Remove video switch. A small button somewhere on the body is more than enough.

Log picture profile.

I'd rather go with a non excessive resolution, say 20 to 24 MP... that's plenty for me.

Better in camera raw compression...

Sensor shift bracketing that can be combined with exposure bracketing. If possible through an API so you can set everything up via a phone or computer (proper tethering!).

Touchscreen if well implemented.

Size and weight shouldn't exceed the K-3 by much.

I am quite annoyed when my K3 with battery grip keep mis-firing when I carry it with a sling belt to put it up side down, the battery grip release is so easy to trigger when the camera bumping around my body, so my wish is a solid shutter lock, or a "sunken trigger" to prevent mis-firing.
