Seriously though, I think the mirrorless hype is already coming to an end and markets meet reality. Mirrorless will slowly grow in market share for a couple of years to come and coexist with mirrors. None of them is dead.
Personally, I think that this will continue until around 2020.
In 2020, Tokyo broadcasts the Olympic Games and almost all vendors are in Tokyo too. And 8k cameras will be the de-facto standard by that time for footage of the Games (this has been reported by various sources).
An 30fps 8k still camera will be a game changer. It will be challenging for post production software to maintain post production efficiency but new concepts are discussed already.
This will mark a transition as was the transition from B&W to color photography. Didn't kill B&W photography but pushed technology to an entirely new level.
IMHO, it will be at and after this point in time only that EVF cameras will take over the serious market.
