Which existing lens for landscape photography

Not knowing what the line up of wide angle lenses will be and when they will be released, for those of you who plan to go FF, what current lens would you apply. I have a 35 FA 2, which should be quite exciting to use but not exactly wide enough for my liking, so maybe if Pentax doesn't bring anything out immediately I'd consider a FA 20mm which you can get for a great price on the used market. What are your thoughts?

I've got the Samyang 14mm and 24mm, along with the K28 f3.5 and FA J 18-35 as needed.

I am using the FA 20-35mm, FA 24mm F2, F 28mm F2.8, F 35-70mm F3.5-4.5 , F 50 mm F/1.7,Sigma 70mm F2.8 Macro and
for traveling light with a zoom Pentax-F 35-135mm F3.5-4.5, TAMRON SP AF 24-135mm F/3.5-5.6 MACRO 190D.

For those UWA shots, I have always had my eye on the Sigma 12-24mm 4.5-5.6 DG only thing i wish that it was faster.

Omg, that's a lot of lenses. Let me rephrase that then. What wide angle (Pentax only), would you choose from the existing and past line up.

SMC-M 20mm F4 for sure -amazing lens throughout ! - also 24mm is great. If wider lens considered for me an absolute winner is Tokina 17mm F3.5 - very sharp and rectilinear with minimal distortion (for focal length ).

Definitely, the FA 20-35mm and FA 24mm F2 then...

I don't think I have a good wide angle Pentax FF compatible lens.
I was thinking the Tamron 28-75/2.8 would be pretty good although not super wide. I'd probably want to get something to cover down to 20mm or so if I had a FF body.

There are a whole lot of cheap 19-35mm F3.5-4.5 lenses. They are also supposed to be quite decent.

I've been practicing panoramas with lenses about 30-35mm and think I'm getting better at both capturing the images and 'developing' them after.

I'd suggest using your FA 35mm 2.0 and trying panoramas to get as wide as you like.

Pentax will be releasing an f2.8 wide angle DFA* zoom. It will be expensive, heavy, and may not have filter rings, but it will likely be the best wide angle option for Pentax FF, at least in terms of edge to edge sharpness and contrast, for some time to come. I suspect the FA 20-35 will be the second best option among wide angle zooms. It's light and compact, with excellent contrast and color, and very good sharpness across much of the image circle.

Is that speculation or inside info?

Lens roadmap said so. Ricoh uses 'large diameter' for fast lenses.
http://photorumors.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Pentax-K-mount-lens-roadmap-2015-updated.jpg

It shows a 12-28 and a 15-30, 28-105 and 24-70 'large diameter' lens.

Hearing this makes me very sad. I bought one a few years ago very cheap, but it turned out to have fungus on the inside of the rear element, which produces very visible image shadowing, so I can't use it.

Maybe I should send it to someone to try and clean it up. I don't have any Pentax FF lenses wider than 18mm at the moment. Hmmm, maybe it's K-mount SamYang 14mm time.

Cheaper than the Pentax 12-24mm!

And pretty good, for what it is.

Pray to any gods you have (and ideally, any you don't) that you get a copy that isn't decentred.
