I won't buy it if Anna won't let me.

I know my place.

I think all Pentaxians will be put off if the price is too high. I suspect that $1500 will be attractive, $2000 will be acceptable, $2500 will be a put-off, over $3000 will mean a long shelf life.
There are features that are a must, for example a screen that at least tilts, better if it tilts and swivels.
There are other features I'd like to see - there's a thread devoted to posting a wish list, but I doubt anyone designing the camera is paying attention.
I would LOVE to see a steel shutter button threaded for mechanical cable releases and backward compatibility of the flash system so that old TTL flash units would work properly, but that's pretty much an impossibility.

A plastic body. Unlike many on here I don't care about price, I can afford Leica cameras so buying a pentax won't be an issue.

At any price, if it is overpriced.

But it won't be.

Price.

I didn't have AF from 1958 till about 1990.
So, with a bright FF viewfinder and a good split image screen, I would be happy without it like I was in the old days.

Body and lenses would be cheaper by a big margin.
Well, lenses probably not so much. A closed loop can offer fairly precise AF even with the sluggish plastic mechanics of most of today's lenses. For manual focus, a return to the mechanics of at least the A series would be needed (Takumar quality would even be better).

File sizes would not be a problem if the FF had 16MP max. Which I would also prefer for noise performance.
With 16MP, cropping would still be ahead compared with 35mm colour film.
And I only once payed for poster size prints for the doors of a friend, of his beautifully painted new chopper bike. And for that, I did not even trust 35mm film ("FF"), and used a MF camera of my father. I think this was in 1977.

Price, size/weight, and what the reviews say. Buying new lenses wouldn't be an issue for me, since I already have several lenses that would work for FF (31, 40, 77, M 100mm macro) and I could easily pick up one of the old 50mm lenses for cheap. I'm really happy with my K-3, and for me to want to buy the FF, there would have to be some area where the FF would give me a noticeable improvement (probably astrophotography), and it couldn't be so cumbersome that I wouldn't want to carry it around with me.

AF performance. If it trails the leaders, then that is a big disincentive

- Incompatibility with current Pentax accessories (eg K-5/K-3 battery type, flash)
- Dramatic control layout/ ergonomic/ UI changes (which will make shooting alongside the K-3 awkward);
What he said plus significant size weight increase over K-3.

Thinking about it, FF Mirrorless would actually tempt me more due to weight and size.

Having purchased a k3 only a few short weeks ago there is little chance that I will be in the market for this camera for a while. If that wasn't the case I would be put off by any of the following:

If DA lenses that cover FF are locked into APSC crop mode.

Lack of intermediate crop modes between APSC and FF.

Much weaker than competition autofocus.

Further k mount crippling (loss of screw drive for example).

Too heavy or big - but this is quite subjective.

Need, I'm not in the market for a new body right now, when that time comes I'll decide. By that time comes any early issues should be resolved and new APS-C models should also be out, and most the second full frame model will be out or on the way. I'll decide what the need vs finances is at that time.

High megapixels. If it uses anything bigger than 36 megapixels, not worth the extra money for resolution I will not use.
Plus, bigger file sizes.
24 megapixels would be nice, 12 or 16 would be gratifying. But I doubt that would be the case. I think the marketing department would have final say over the engineering department.
Which is why we have historical precedence for snafus - K01, Q system, K-S1, Theta. All hemorrhaging precious funds..
