Today I saw second hand cameras for sale: a 5D Markt II @ 890 euros, a D800 @ 1100 euros, one D610 @ 800 euros, and a D750 new for 1890 euros.
Pretty good deals if you have the lenses, but not germane to when we think Ricoh will release the FF..

Pentax full frame and the "Canada Dry" effect: a lot of pressure built up in the can, and then psssshhhit; only selling a few cameras.
Oh well. That didn't turn out well.

You might be surprised.

This is a surprisingly trollish survey. It's an invitation to compound the vitriol from the 3 or 4 other threads in the N&R sub forum... were page views down?

One man's trolling is another man's banter, but anyway, I find some trolls are just frustrated evangelists in troll's clothing...

Maybe Im particularly sensitive due the abundance of election nonsense. I guess you folks in Oz can relate.

Has there ever been proof that RICOH are actually serious? (I don't call a plastic 3D print, proof of anything serious)
What do you want--internal memos? Would they make the D FA 150-450 lens FF compatible just for fun? Develop a D FA 70-200 to within an inch of actual release as a marketing exercise?

Please remember 'announced' does NOT mean 'released.'

How many announcements does one camera need? You could say that it was announced in February, this year, but that would be far too obvious. It's getting like the announcement chain that precedes government works: first you announce the intention, then the feasibility study, then the plan, then the budget funding, then the confirmation of the plan, then the start date etc etc…

"Utopia" is one of those documentaries posing as a work of fiction, like "House of Cards" or "Yes, Minister".

Who knows. I really expected to see one at Photokina 2014. There was a flood of FF bodies in 2013-14 from Sony, Canon, & Nikon. A7, A7r, A7s, 6D, D600/610, Df, D810, & 4Ds. What was a wide market with a lot of room for Ricoh to find a niche in became very crowded in a very short time and Ricoh just watched from the sidelines.

If the embargo ends on October 6th, my guess would be beginning of November to middle of November.
