How many announcements does one camera need? You could say that it was announced in February, this year, but that would be far too obvious. It's getting like the announcement chain that precedes government works: first you announce the intention, then the feasibility study, then the plan, then the budget funding, then the confirmation of the plan, then the start date etc etc…

Has there ever been proof that RICOH are actually serious? (I don't call a plastic 3D print, proof of anything serious)

It does not matter if Ricoh release it or not, we've been waiting and talking about a Pentax full frame for years, as if making a 24x36mm DSLR is a transcendental revolutionary technology nor it provide an exceptional jump in image quality like 645z MF does. So, even if Ricoh never release anything, there are still the options of keeping the excellent K-3 or K-3II , or ultimately getting a second hand 645D or 645z.

Pentax full frame and the "Canada Dry" effect: a lot of pressure built up in the can, and then psssshhhit; only selling a few cameras.
