NICE.... Let the wild speculation begin all over again.

Need a better picture of the top plate and those dials.

See the thread here. Many pictures one very clearly shows the control knob. Note those pics are later in the thread.

Looks like it has built-in GPS and 2 SD slots. Not unexpected

There seems to be NFC logo in the same position as in K-S2.

FF are going lighter and lighter. I wonder how much this will weigh. Any guess by someone competent, judging from the pictures?

Strange LCD fixing. For lateral view?
No news about sensor?
Very strange marketing attitude a few month before sale...

I'm guessing 30% heavier than the K-3. Therefore 800g x 1.3 = 1040g.

My guess would be only about 10% more than the K-3. After all, a big camera like the D810 is only 980g (with batteries). But it all depends on the internal design and materials used, which we have no information about yet.

Know? Maybe. There was widespread speculation of that.

We can see really a lot of things from the photo. I see:
1 - 4 different wheel-dialers (back, front, top center and top right)
2 - 1 switch for Video/Photo mode at the basis of the center dialer (small pictures of video and camera)
3 - 1 small lcd on top (....???....)
4 - a new wheel mechanism for diopter adapt.
5 - Many buttons for manual control
6 - the tilting rear lcd screen (!!!!!!!!)

So , my good friends, we'll see really good camera!!!

Can't wait no more !!!

Matteo

P.S.: I'll see in Phootshow in MIlano on the 25th if there'll be something on the Pentax stand... Too good to see it there!

The left side of the camera is very narrow, and overall the body is small relative to the lens. Only the grip looks "beefy." So Ricoh-Pentax is working hard to maintain a "small-form camera" as some executive called their product design philosophy. Suits me.

After all, the more cameras you can squeeze into your camera bag the better.
