I have been trying to upload photo into my site and Pentax forum but I am on my mobile. I will try again this afternoon. One of the members on my Pentax FF website has been kind enough to pass them on to us. But I can see that we already have some other photos on the forum. This is awesome news. So it's gotta be official now

Seriously? A link that leads to a link that leads to another link?
What was the point of this thread again?

Not sure if anyone in Paris is reading this but can someone please walk around the display and shoot dozens of images from different angles and then upload them to a 3-d conversion tool such as the following: Autodesk 123D Catch | Generate 3d model from photos

A non-official entity says "the name K-1 is official" without attribution.

Hi Michael, I worked on the team that developed 123D Catch (Photofly, etc.). It does not work well with glass reflections in any of the source images, so a polarizer will be needed as well. Plus, to get a good representation, maybe 40-60 photos from many different angles. Maybe video would be best...

Good idea, I wonder if the glass would get in the way with reflections?
And you can't see the bottom...
