Not really - currently they are just re-positioning themselves to start the "Why I won't buy a k1" thread.

I honestly unsuscribe from several threads regardins FF, why?, because trolls, rumours, competitions (K1 vs D750/D810/D500/D5 or Canon equivalents)... it just boresome, when the specs of the FF are already officials it gonna be (almost) the same until release, and after that until reviews come to light. My intention of buy a FF is the same, at least 6-8 months after release if came under $2000usd, more time if above that price.

What? Pentax FF is gonna run on steam?! I thought it will run on batteries, like most digital cameras. (I would prefer it to run on spring-loaded mechanism. No need for those pesky chargers).
I rekon it's the best answer so far, thinking about a steam engine power camera... woowww, it's gonna smoke lol

It has for me, I am no longer interested in waiting for it ...or wait, I was never interested in getting one. I do eagerly wait for the posts about the actual camera and how it works in the real world.
I barely remember the trains that ran on steam and most of my cameras run without batteries but the idea of a steam operated camera is interested, especially in Alberta winter.

And there was me... hoping it would be electronic, now it seems I might have to consider a FF with plumbing...

Otis is going to ask luftfluss if he can borrow that cat to put alongside him on that new Award he is giving out. I think they would look great together.....If he will agree, Otis will make the Award available to all members. It could get a lot of use in certain parts of the Forum......

That cat would look so good to the right of the 2nd and 3rd lines in the blank area..... Otis says he would even toss him a convicted squirrel every so often, he has thousands to spare!

Regards!

Sounds like the Shirley MacLaine camera.

You can use it only while 'surfin the astroturf' to record your visions while meditating.

On reflection, I'd actually buy that one.

What are you waiting for? I have a FF K2 with a SMC Pentax-FA 1:1.8 77mm Limited. You can see it on my website.

Maybe so, but I'd love to see another delay - just to watch the ensuing meltdowns and exploding heads!

I've followed the Pentax FF news / announcements for more than a year. Until end of 2015, teasing was pretty effective, triggering a lot of activities on the thread. However, it now looks like some people who used to participate to FF threads don not participate anymore. Shall the Pentax FF be postponed half a year or more, I'd see a number of Pentaxians loosing interest. To me it seems that the Pentax FF teasing pumped up beyond maximum is kind of falling flat. Have some people given up already?

Oh yes, absolutely. They may as well not even bother releasing it now.

Why all the doom and gloom? The question is whether Pentax gets a splash with the K-1 appearance and I think they will get that, regardless of the teasing ahead of time.
