It also goes without saying that there will be the small clutch of regulars within that group who will continue to stand on their soapboxes and pontificate on why anyone who is happy shouldn't be.
We've just seen it so many times before. The K-1 is a failure because: (a) it has too few megapixels. " Nothing less than 42 megapixels is adequate. We Pentaxians need the best!" or (b) it has too many megapixels. "I will not buy a camera that has more than 24 megapixels!" Or maybe, (a) It would have been a better camera if Pentax had left video off. "We Pentaxians are conservative types who have no use for video. Pentax could have left it off and saved each one of us 7 dollars off the sticker price." or (b) It doesn't have 4K video with 60 fps. "I won't buy a camera that doesn't have cutting edge video. Pentax is so behind the times when it comes to technology." And the same conversation can be repeated for any other thing you want to mention (built in flash, GPS, pixel shift technology, etc).
In the end, I just hope Pentax releases a camera that works well, doesn't crash, has decent resolution, and mounts k mount lenses without an adapter. I have a feeling I will be happy...
