Great... Is it just me or did they mess up the formatting? C'mon Pentax...

"D FA 24-70mm F2.8ED SDM WR: for well-depicted, fine-detailed images" - another teaser just for the sake of a teaser, no new info... I guess we've got to wait till the 18th

EDIT: It's just my firefox that has weird formatting, looks fine on Safari - it looks like its because they've got a slideshow going! Upping the ante... but with poor browser compatibility

They do say it's got ASTROTRACER! Not a big surprise, but good to know!

They have also stated explicitly that the body is WR. Again, absolutely no surprise - it would be unthinkable for it not to be in a Pentax flagship camera - but positive evidence is always good.

I'm still trying to work out if we can read anything specific into "All K mount lenses are compatible". At worst we have what we've already got (green button). At best... well, you know what us K and M fans are all hoping for.

What's to work out? The green button makes all K-mount lenses compatible...

I can also confirm that there is a power-saving function to turn off the top LCD - or else they forgot to put the D-Li90 in

Forgive my ignorance, how does pentax cripple the Kmount?

The product photos at the top of the page look fine, but the sample photos taken with the camera are unimpressive. Pentax should have better test images.

The site works okay on my copy of Firefox.

The product photos show it can tilt plus rotate. It's potentially useful for shots taken very low to the ground like macro and some landscapes. It looks like a weak point, but maybe Ricoh did a good engineering job and made it easy (and inexpensive) to replace the articulating arms.
