Odd: there are no EXIF data save for the copyright and the line "PENTAX K-1 Ver. 0.99" only appears in Windows Explorer, under the title "Program name".

Wait--are we allowed to discuss images here? Heck, we might even go out and shoot our own!

Different set-ups are different, I'm sure, butifI check the properties/details on images from my K-3, the firmware version isn't what comes up there

Of course they can be but how did the name of the camera and the version of its firmware escape the EXIF data fields and land into a Windows field labelled "Program name" and read by Windows Explorer only?

Right, this is starting to look like a fake.
Edit, I have to take that back. Apparently jpgs straight out of the camera looks like that.

EXIFTool can edit at least some EXIF data. But even without that, the contents of a file can be changed. It may take a byte level editor sometimes, but impossible it is not.

On the girls profile both eyes are in focus, it can't be a K-1.

Regarding the Toshiki Nakanishi photos, I think it's highly likely that he has been given a K-1 to test, and very unlikely that he would waste time faking EXIFs. There was a really nice exhibition of his work at the Ricoh Imaging Square in Shinjuku last month. He's quite a renowned Pentax user.

Here's the exhibition at the Ricoh gallery.

Many iconic images were actually shot on Pentax digital, it seems, judging by the EXIF.

Good point norm. But I don't think she was attracted in the backyard with a bird feeder and photographed with a A-400 f5.6, which explain that the DoF is large enough for both eyes to be in focus , regardless the camera :-)
Yep, actually, no-one can tell if those pictures were shot with a FF or with a K-3.
