The D5 certainly looks like it would be fun to carry around for 5 hours, with a 70-200 or similar mounted.

I guess that D5 looks like it has kind of battery grip inbuilt. But even if we put the battery grip on K-3(II), it will be more compact.

It's price is rather huge either.

This is interesting: "Matching the speed and imaging capabilities is the apt Multi-CAM 20K AF system, which features 153 total phase-detection points, including 99 cross-type sensors for improved subject recognition, and 55 of the points are selectable for greater compositional freedom. Benefitting the use of super telephoto lenses and teleconverters, 15 of the points, including 9 selectable points, are compatible with an effective aperture of f/8 and all 153 points support working with effective apertures of f/5.6 or brighter."

I hope that K1 will come with more AF points as well.

Uh, it doesn't have much to do with Pentax Full Frame, either....
I didn't move it here, so if you think it's in the wrong place use the "report to Moderator" feature. That's what it's there for.

The advantage is the Nikon gear can have a second life for doing fitness weight training at home during rainy foggy days. Or two in one activities: the photofitness.

The advantage of massive camera body is that it acts as natural SR , given the weight , vibrations and any fast movement are not possible.

Last year, I saw a Nikonian carrying his gear with a trolley, now I understand why.

Right. It was moved by another moderator, I made the post.
Moved is the past tense of move, though I did err by not stating it in a grammatically correct sentence such as "This post has been moved."
I'm not sure why it's so bloody important to you, though. confused2

Let's let the thread get back to the subject.

The K-1 would size-wise be more like Nikon Df, D610 and Canon 6D.

I also would like to see another comparison. D5 + a decent zoom against lots of K-3II with primes filling the same zoom range as the Nikon package. Total price must be the same on both ends of the scale.

Your post reads as though you were moving the thread because it was in the wrong subforum. I'll cop to having the same initial reaction as dcshooter.
