It carried within itself the seeds of its own destruction. Hope and fantasy have now become reality, joy for many, tinged with minor disappointment for some (I really wanted base ISO lower than 100 and an uncrippled mount, but what we've got is great and I will certainly buy it one day), and a source of endless and bitter complaint for a hard core of miserable people for whom the glass is never full enough even when overflowing.

It will be busy, no doubt. I joined this forum last year in readiness for the exciting times ahead for Pentax. There's going to be an explosion in knowledge and as someone who's up for this new K1, I can't wait.
