Megapixels of K-1 Crop Mode

How many megapixels will the K-1 produce in crop mode? Around 15-16?

Should be right around 16, assuming the 36-megapixel rumor is true.

Given the already pretty good all round performance of K5 / K5 II + potential performance improvements in the newer sensor, 16 MP is a good place to be.

For a few recognized DA lenses with a wider image circle,
there was also some talk that the "crop mode"
could be stretched out a little further, say 20-24 MP.

You can shoot in in FF mode and then crop in post.
In fact, all it needs is to have a saved image in LR where its cropped to taste, 'Copy' the cropping and then click 'Paste' on the new images that you want to crop to the same aspect ratio.

Should be around 16Mpixels, like a K-5IIs , if the K-1 is without OAA filter. Is that mentioned in the specs if it is with or without anti alias filter? I'm asking that because the K-5IIs was visibly sharper than the K-5.

Considering the present trend regarding AA filters I would say Without.

Sensor shift should emulate an AA filter if a moire situation threatens. ☺
