so, ISO is 100-200K I do think that it is more than enough for me! Should mean that ISO 12000 or even 24000 is quite really good. whoa. Can't really wait, SR, inbuild GPS and panning detection...really, what more can one want. 4,4 FPS is great in my use. Event, landscape, portraits. Mostly landscapes, and if pixelsift has been settled so that little movement will not 'ruin' the shot, I will be happy(even if little movement would mean bad pic).

I was afraid to come here this morning. USB arguments? Hehehe... Par for PF course.

I hardly shoot my digitals these days, but this might win me over as I suspected it could. Love to slap some FF glass on a digital, and this thing does look rugged and like what I generally expected.

Also back to the USB, as many have pointed out, who cares? I can count the number of times I've plugged my past three Pentax digis in via their USB ports on 1 hand. Always, ALWAYS use a card reader, computer onboard or stand-alone. Always.

This looks to be like a solidlly spec'd and well-built camera and very in-line with what many expected and hoped for.

Specs are one thing - how it actually performs is another - so even if it's a bit less costly than other brands - it will be judged by its performance

I can count the same using less than one finger on my left hand.

I was deciding weather to get a 645D or the new Fuji X-pro 2 as a second body but the K-1 is a Ridiculous camera for a ridiculously small amount of money.

looking foward to adding this beauty to go with my 645z!

Don't post stupid things and nobody will make fun of you. If you have nothing to add perhaps you should start shopping for that D4 you think you can get for the cost of a K1.

I'd rather have the K1 anyway given my investment in glass and preference for a small weather-sealed body. Plus I love the brand.

Sheriff clackers, thank you for pointing me at my transgressions.

I am so ashamed for my sarcasm and my bad childish behavior. thank you so much...
You really helped me out here... How could I get around without the revelations you gifted me with...

But again read:

You may recognize that I did not insult anybody personally.

Not one time, I said this guy or that guy is nuts because...

There is a line between saying what you don't like about something generally in a humorous way or with some kind of sarcasm which may be difficult for some people to understand and being rude, personal offensive and insult someone personally...
Doing so is what I would call a mere "donkeypunch"...
That's what
cowards do at the schoolyard when they don't know how they can act in an intellectual way. Libel or slander as you may call it is juridically actionable BTW. (Saying "nahnahanahanahanahnah" is NOT- for SOME REASON...)

Actually, this would cost me only a slight grin, but somebody had to tell you where you and Walter "Subcheck" crossed the line Lebowsky.
You see; QUIDPROQUO I can also go "personal".
You see there is not much to it. Not even for a scholar.

SO please if you don't have anything to add, than saying "yeah"(where in the world does this count as CONTRIBUTING??) to everything and pointing out to the sarcasms of others you may not like or consider childish, than plz open a new thread where you can talk about such things and put somebody (or everybody, whose sarcasm you don't like) in the pillory...

I for one, would like to get back to the point and talk about cameras:

FYI: Nikons and Canons Pro-Bodies are also weather-sealed... Sonys A99 is also weather-sealed... That is some kind of standard by now for enthusiast or pro gear... Fuji has it, Sony, ETCETERAETCETERA

So where is the point being proud of the weather sealing?

If this was about the K-S2, I would say OK... This is a masterpiece! Bang4theBuck Factor=unbeatable. Practically a Canon Ti with so much features, so small and still weather-sealed... Good work.
Sometimes I see it for as low as 500€? WOW!! and so compact godd...!!
But looking at it in a practical way, where the hell is the PLUS1500Euro-Factor? to what I can do with a K-S2...
(We are not talking about what FF physically offers compared to crop!)?? Remember that it is just that the sensor, mirror and shutter is bigger ... And FF or crop-sensor... They are produced in the very same way and no one prawling around on some forum will REALLY KNOW the cost of such a sensor... New SR...? Was about time anyway... (Dunno since when this was already standard for other brands like oly..)

NOW... surprise me, schoolmates. TELL ME THE TRUTH!! lol

Do you mean instead of simply agreeing, someone should rant like you did here? No, thanks. 😁

Are you as good a legal eagle as you are a camera expert, Patarok?

Bring it on, buddy - litigate. Count that as another thing I'm saying 'yeah' to. ☺
