The updated site is really cool. Just read there about product planning, which is really interesting.

That's a nice design. It's still under development (half the top menu bar is "Coming Soon") but very promising. The "Laboratory" says it will soon let you find sample photos taken with a specific lens.

I thought someone said Pentax doesn't know how to market

But, oh boy, do they seem to have figured it out for the K-1. This is very gratifying to finally see this new camera with our dear old camera name being pushed hard by the company. A really astonishing flood of publicity from all sides.

I think Ricoh just grabbed a higher gear.

Part 4 of the challenges, concentrating on the pentaprism and grip, is now up.

Who said that? I think the discussion was over lack of marketing not their inability to market when they desired. They just haven't given a lot of care to K mount in the past several years.. until now it seems.

The K-1 laboratory is quite disappointing since I can't even see full resolution and limited infos.

Cool site. Under Labratory on far right and then FA*, it looks like they have a whole new line of lenses planned after this first release.

Quite an undertaking! I am very impressed with this site. The whole endeavour has a polish and coordination we have not seen from Pentax, at least not in a very long time.

Well done Ricoh!

I am also surprised at the sheer volume of work that has gone into this. Writing the essays alone involved quite an effort.

No idea where the lens lab is going but a lot of foundation work already in place. I hope they add places for the Pentax-F series as well.

It is a really classy site. I'm so glad it's not full of video content and fancy moving panels, pop-ups, etc.
