Originally posted by SteveM Looking at the K1, there are some very impressive reasons to pick one up. I shoot both with FF and a crop (K3), but I might replace the K3 with the K1.
What about you? Crop has some benefits as does FF. Would you be happy with just FF?
By the end of April I will have a comprehensive FF system; the K-1 plus the D FA lenses plus various other FF lenses.
But - because of the weight, and/or burst-mode speed, I will continue to use APS-C where relevant. I will have two systems with the option of doing mix-n-match.
However, I wonder whether I will sometimes use the K-1
purely as a 15MP APS-C camera? And if a future FF camera with
a better burst rate in cropped mode appears, perhaps it might replace my K-3II?
(I have a
non-system carry-around camera, the Lumix LX100. So I tend
not to go for the lightest possible
system camera/lens combination).
