Ken Rockwell dismisses K-1 out of hand

Apparently according to Ken you have to be an Asperger's case to want to buy a Pentax camera and gives it very short shrift. Of course, he hasn't seen or tested one. He does not mention the IBIS, the pixel shift or the astrotracer of course. Canon and Nikon can't do these things, but tt's not a Nikon, it's not a Canon, so he's not interested. Not very objective journalism IMO. From specs I'd say the K-1 clearly beats the D810.

I couldn't care less what Rockwell thinks about Pentax cameras. But his dismissal of those who live with Asperger's as "feeble" is ignorant in the extreme.

I imagined he would pull out some nonsense like this...
I believe the fact that he had to resort to insults is an indicator that he's short on arguments though...

Edit: now that I think about it, with this attitude he's doing more damage to himself than to Pentax, when the rest of the world has met this new camera with almost universal praise... even dpreview kinda liked it, some botched attempt at contempt (pun intended) like using the 50/2 for legacy glass testing...
People with even just half a brain should notice and take note...

That's what riled me - I don't mind or care what he thinks or says about Pentax, but the Asperger's comments are inappropriate. Poor taste, Ken.
