In-camera lens corrections

I wonder how this will be done. The full frame lenses would get correct data. How would that be with the lenses that are aps-c only or those with stop down? Do they get only lens correction for the aps-c crop? That would mean that the image would be corrected for a part and that it is not usable for the full frame image. The DA*55 is stated as stop down, and thus only lens corrections for the centre part of the image? This lens is very usable on full frame I think.

Any idea or info?

There are FF correction profiles in the camera for the DA* 200mm, DA*300mm, and DA 560mm only. They will automatically be used if you set the camera to FF mode. In crop mode, the standard crop profiles are used.

That means that lens corrections can't be used for roplenses when you use the full frame sensor to achieve a larger image area.

This doesn't matter in the slightest if you're shooting RAW... Who both cares about lens correction AND shoots JPEG?
