So this example image made in New Zealand is made with the K-1 and the 28-105mm lens is made on June 12th 2015. So if the camera and lens where ready, why is everyone still waiting for the camera?

I saw that and was really impressed by the "Kit Lens" and this shot with camera under development.
This Glas sells for 600€ in Germany - any Chance they will create a kit bundle with the Camera?
Don't see it anywhere (after I saw that the 24-70 will be sold for another 1300€ I quickly forgot the plan to buy the Body and 24-70 Kit HAHA

)

I was also impressed that Ricoh used the most modest lens in their new D FA lineup to shoot their very impressive pixel-shift samples [the flower still-life]. It certainly seems to be a decent lens.

I'm not sure that it is June. Probably the image is taken on the 6th of December, summer time in New Zeland... ) I might be wrong, as I've never been there!

I see snow up in the mountain top... quite possible still winter there (although winter is mild in New Zealand) - to me it is more likely taken in June.

I might be wrong, but I'm gonna say that it's December 06, 2015, not June 12th.

I looked up the "Original Date/Time" EXIF tag, and it shows that the proper format is: "YYYY:MM:DD HH:MM:SS"

How is the date set on the K1? By manual entry in the setting? By GPS receptions? Could it be that it is just a simple mistake by the user?

I heard they had some issues. Not sure exactly what. That is why the original late 2015 date was pushed back. I hope whatever the issue was is resolved for good and won't show up in the first batch of the cameras.

The image is made in June and not december. I think the snow tells that.

Here's another case of cultural miscommunication. The date was set to American Date format (at least the one we use here).

if you read the exif properly you will find that the production date is 2016:02:05 08:43:49. with firmware 1.00
So by your reckoning its now 2 may 2016.
