That makes sense then. Aps-c is a 1.5x crop factor. Some digital lenses with larger image circles will probably work at 1.4 anyway.

I use the kenko pz-af 1.5. The pz means power zoom. The old power zoom functionality and sdm use the same leads, so it does indeed work with both sdm and screw drive.

I'll have to give it a look, thanks. On my film camera with a 95% viewfinder I don't see vignetting with the one 1.4x DA. It's pretty easy to make PS Action to crop 3%
