News Flash!

The new FF will be called the "K0"(null)in 2018 and will have three modes :

Landscape:
45mp(6 FPS).

Portrait:
30mp(8 FPS).

Sport:

18mp(11 FPS).

Six Axis Stabilization(if possible).

100% "High Point" Viewfinder.

CF & SD capability.

4K Video(just because).

Flash Sync(1/300...because we can).

1/12000 Shutter Speed(Minolta did back in '89).

The only thing I'm thinking of 2018 is that I can buy a K-1 and some FF lenses by then.

Baby aspirin for strokes and Darvocet, Hydrocodone for back, knees, neck and shoulders.

Hmm, That does give us an indication for future numbering schemes.

K-1, K-3, K-5.... or alternatively, K1-, K3-, K5- .....

I think we've been looking at this wrong all this time.

It's not a hyphen. It's a minus sign. They've been counting up from -7 after getting bored with all the algebra. (K-x/m/etc)

The next camera will be the K+1, then K+3, and so on.

Always with the option of sub models e.g. K+1(2*3)

Sorry, but all of the "-" series are odd, prime numbers. 0 is neither.

Perhaps, but they'll have to skip K+9.
