It just can't be that bad on MZ-S and be OK on K-1 at the same time.
So, who is mistaken, do you think?

Even God can't release a FW 1.00 image before April 25th.

Adam posted about this in the WPPI thread. Ricoh declines to classify the 1.4x TC FF compatible, suggesting it performs sub-optimally with some lenses. Apparently the elements are slightly too small for FF. The DA 200, 300 and 560 are slightly corrected in camera and certified FF with lens hoods. The TC works just fine with many lenses.

The MZ-S image is - ahem - unlikely.

I put the DA*300 + converter on the Sony A7R with adapter and pointed the camera at a textured white wall. No hood. The vignetting in the viewfinder was obvious enough that there was no need for a photo. Still, there was a bigger area of the photo which was not seriously affected than the size of an APS-C sensor. Underexposing a little makes the vignetting in this photo more apparent.

I remember using the DA55-300 on film, and at 300, there was serious vignetting like this only at the widest aperture. Without an aperture ring, it is hard to test on the A7R to see if this is the case.

Here is one more with the maximum vignette correction in ACR applied. This is quick and dirty, and there is an over corrected ring. However, except at the extreme corners, the image is quite usable.
