Guess what?

This a a crop of the Nikon D800 at ISO 320.From a raw file. Noise! I guess the perfect camera isn't that perfect after all!

Well, ff is on stop better than apsc, it's not a huge difference. Someone with excellent technique can get as good results with apsc as someone paying to particular attention with a full frame. With proper use of SR and accurate exposure (ETTR) apsc can yield the same results as ff.

Although it's hard to tell sometimes from web images, out-of-focus blur doesn't equal sensor noise. Neither does cruddy JPEG processing.
