The problem there is that while 100x150mm filters are ok to carry, 150x170mm filters are HUGE and a bit of a pain.

At least the Irix can have a 95mm polariser attached, or a 95mm ND filter.
Yes you are right I guess they would be a bit of a hassle to deal with. The more I look at that Irix lens the better it looks...

Obviously you wouldn't have grads, only screw-in solid ND and Polariser, but with the K-1 you are going to have a lot of dynamic range to work with, so grads are somewhat less important.

True but I still use grads on my 645z even though it has BAGS of DR. Its a hard habit to get out of But yes at least you could attach an ND or polarizer and maybe you could even get away with hand holding a 100x150 grad in front of the lens?

I still use grads too on really tough scenes, you can't avoid it.

I believe Formatt Hitech also does a 95mm adapter to allow their 100mm holder (and potentially others) to be used:

Threaded Adapter for 100mm Aluminum Holder ? Formatt-Hitech

Zomei also makes one (I use the Zomei filter holder and filters - very good for a budget line):

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Zomei%C2%AE-Square-Filter-Support-Adapter/dp/B00IZCF6EU

I'm not sure whether these would be suitable on a UWA lens, but worth checking...

Sure wish they would get this lens on the market. Still not sure if B&H or Adorama will be carrying it.

Too late for me I just bought a 15-30 I was interested in the Irix but in the end I decided having a zoom would be preferable for versatility as I do shoot architecture occasionally and 15mm is way to wide for interiors. I still haven't solved the filters issue but I might end up with a Nisi system or just manage without them.
