On a challenging setup, ISO3200 F2.8 poor lighting and moving from subject to subject at close but irregular distances with the DFA70-200 @ 200mm the burst did slow down when set to focus priority and no focus hold. Had it not been refocusing or firing even if out of focus it might not have slowed down as much. between subjects at close range but not the same distance there seemed to be at least 1 shot inbetween where nothing was in focus. the performance might be significantly better on more distant subjects in better light where tracking more more often done. this was firmware version 0.55

The feature that IMO was most impressive was the pixel shift, I did some shots handheld and found they looked sharper than expected, i didn't compare directly against single shots but they still looked better than expected, I wasn't crazy steady either. I did this with the 15-30mm F2.8 at 30mm F2.8 and ISO 1600 or 3200. The next feature i really liked was the SR was definitely better, 105mm at 1/20th sec doesn't require a lot of SR however i believe it resulted in a steadier photo than such a shutter speed and focal length on my K-3. Finally the Samyang 135mm F2.0 when tested on a 5D III shows 2.44 stops vignetting at F2.0 according to lenstip.com, on the K-3 I really couldn't see any vignetting, this is not scientific but heck 2.44 stops should be quite visible.
I suppose the older FA 28-105mm F3.2-4.5 will be my everyday walk around lens for the foreseeable future, sure the new 28-105mm F3.5-5.6 might be better but i can't justify the cost nor can i afford it. Yes the borders and corners aren't spectacular with the older lens and the CA increases as you stop down but shooting it at F8-F11 for every day stuff is just fine, good enough and should be a welcome addition to my kit.
