I contacted B&H on April 4/5/16 to check on my back order of my K1 and was told that
the first shipment would be in on April 21st and that also (very happy) I would be getting
a camera out of the first shipment. I ordered on Feb 23rd. just for reference. Sounded like
there was a large list of preorders.

Damn.... i order on March 4, but i think my odds are ok.

Does anybody knows if the new lenses (28-105 - 15-30) or the Grip will be available the same day of the camera? maybe ill add the grip but i want everything in the same shipment.

I ordered on 2/19 from B&H and was just told this via live chat:

"Grayer Z : I have looked into this for you and currently your order is estimated to arrive at our warehouse by early May. As soon as we receive it in stock we will ship your order to you, and e-mail you with the tracking information. I apologize for this delay and any inconvenience it may have caused you."

Maybe Todd's order is part of a subsequent batch that B&H is scheduled to receive?

When you thin about it is consistent, they may get the shipment in april21, next day they open the boxes, fill the inventory, check orders, process payment, print label and start the put in the boxes to send our tracking numbers... That can take a few days, and even maybe Ricoh have a delivery to customer date of do not ship before "x" day

I just called B&H and my Feb 23 preorder is scheduled for April 21 and if they get the shipment later in the day will ship out April 22.

thanks guys for checking this out.. really happy i did the order on the 18th of February. I planed a trip on the 29 April.. so if the K-1 comes before that, it would be great :-)

Just noticed two K-1's for sale on eBay: $2354.00 for on in US and $2599.90 from Japan. Don't hurt anyone in the rush.

B&H is closed for all business until May 1. Shipping will begin then.

I pre-ordered from Amazon March 13th. No shipment yet. My status says "Not yet shipped". I'm sure others got their pre-orders in earlier than I did. Maybe they can chime in. Although I'm guessing if any had been shipped, we'd see some posts from gleeful customers already.
