K-1 3rd dial customize

You know that K-1 have a new dial for setting features such as SR, iso, grid, and more. I'm not sure if this feature is exist but is it possible to customize that dial?

Not according to the manual. Though it would an interesting feature.

It is. HDR, BKT, ISO, -/+, and CH/CL are not that major features I think. They should've put AA simulator, Pixel shift(What happen???), Astro tracing, white balance, and etc seriously. Hope they upgrade the firmware to enable customizing.

I think ISO will be perfect for me. Wheels for all three variables in M mode will be awesome.

I suspect it will be ISO full time for me as well. With occasional changes to something else as needed.
Having ISO on the third dial would be worthwhile all by itself, everything else is icing.

What it "should" be there is debatable, and there will always be some conflicting ideas about that. For example, people not using the AA simulator might wonder why it would "needlessly" use precious space on that dial

Pixel Shift can be assigned to Fx buttons, and for the WB you have access from the 4-way controller. Then, there are the 5 User Settings. I'll have trouble deciding how to customize the camera...

Unfortunately (perhaps), there will be no firmware upgrade to enable customizing. Why I think so? Because the settings are written on the dial. Pentax won't launch a firmware upgrade that would make the UI inconsistent to the extent of written settings not matching the function of dials.

P.S. I can see myself regularly using ISO, perhaps Crop (for momentary bursts of speed), maybe BKT, maybe SR if not with the Fx buttons...
