Me being thick...

Can anyone tell me how to... on a K1, zoom in on the live view screen image, when set to manual focus, P mode, so I can check my focus with all this clever focus peeking malarky technology.

Press the OK button. Use the four buttons around it to move the peek, and the wheel to zoom in and out

Thanks you have just restored my faith in my abilities, or should say lack of abilities, to find what I needed.

Not to be alone is a good thing.

People with such similar lens collections must stick together and support each other!

So I see, but your appears much more extensive than my humble collection...

I'm starting to struggle to carry mine about these days, hence using Peli 1510 cases... as they have wheels.

Using the "OK" button is also how I make sure my focus is spot on before recording video. Cinematic video is always in manual.

Thanks for this forum again, I'll also put my hand up and say I've never been able to work out why when I used the rear wheel it changed aperture, not zoomed in to check focus. I thought it must be a menu option setting I had missed.

Page 40 of the Manual explains the procedure, which is as noted above. Just thought you'd like to know it's there. This thread reminded me to download it – RTFMing is much easier to do on an electronic document.
