I found this in a youtube video yesterday and I think I will replace my chepo JJC strap with this. Looks really promising. Anyone using one of these?

I really like the black rapid hand strap used the same way. Without the bottom attachement.

Luigi strap handmade in Italy

The model is Genius strap. It's pretty expensive but the quality is there.
I choose the color named RAF distressed pilot. And it's lined in kaki green suede leather. It's very nice, but as usual your mileage may vary.

On eBay, its way cheaper and faster... dont ask me why!

Btw, i love the feel and above all the look of this strap especially with fa* 24 and fa* 85. The distress brown/kaki and the golden lettering on that smooth leicaish satin chrome is pure lust...

I use the neoprene Optech straps that convert to a wrist strap.

The last thing i want when tripod shooting is a strap flapping around in my way, so when the neck section is removed, the clips can fasted the short strap into my tripod for an extra security measure. They don't have any logos.
Highly recommended.

I started off with the Peak Design Slide sling strap and like it (always loved it with my K-3), but have found myself using their Clutch hand strap more often these days. No extraneous bits flopping around - just grab the camera and go. Admittedly, I have not been out for a day of shooting with just the hand strap, and I suspect I might want the freedom for my hands that the Slide would give me on a long outing. But for just every day grab the camera and take some shots for an hour or so, the Clutch is working remarkably well for me. Certainly worth the purchase.

Funny thing about buying straps right now is that they are all mostly out of stock. The Pentax D-LI90(E) battery has been out of stock for weeks as well.

same here. i wanted to pick up a couple of extra LI90's but they havent been in stock since i grabbed their last one a few weeks ago.

i was quite lucky actually... within the space of 3 days they had a k1, battery grip, LI90 and tamron 70-200 all in stock. i'd been waiting for all of them for ages, the tamron has hardly been in stock for a year. so obviously i grabbed them all

lucky my k3 uses them too really and i've got 3 for that.

haven't seen the k1, grip or tamron in stock since... (f64.ro in bucharest, romania)

edit: since this is a thread about straps thought i should say what i use... i never use one i find they just get in the way and since i only ever usually shoot in a studio i dont really need them

I love the Op Tech straps myself. I have three of them. One dual camera version, one sling strap and one over the shoulder. I love being able to easily switch between the shoulder strap and the sling strap for different situations. If I am out with a 70-200mm 2.8 hanging from my K-3 with a battery grip and using a Think Tank belt with a few lenses, I like having the camera securely wrapped around my neck for lens changing. No worries about it sliding off my shoulder. If I am just out with one lens I like using a shoulder strap. The quick releases make changing the straps quick and easy. Plus, I think the straps are very secure.

I've got some OpTech wrist straps, but after seeing the paracord wrist strap posted by @jls74d00, I'm thinking of getting some cord and making one of my own!
