K-1 & M200/4 Gallery

Here's a gallery of uncropped samples made using the M200/4 on my K-1. Shot handheld in DNG. Processed in LR5.7 with exposure adjustment, +19 clarity, and sharpening (Amount 50, radius 1, detail 25, masking 30). All in all, it's a decent performer, I think, especially for a $55 lens. See for yourself.

I've always considered the M200/4 a solid though not exceptional performer on APS-c sensored cameras. I would say I see no degradation on the K-1. I was surprised at no light fall-off in corners. Corners are quite sharp too. I also think bokeh is quite nice. I'm confident that the new digitally optimized 200mm does better, but for $55, I'm thrilled with it. I am not a long glass photographer, so didn't want to drop a lot of cash for a top-end 200mm. All in all, there's a lot lot of bang for the buck on this lens, especially for a casual user.

Looks to be a sound combo is use producing decent enough imagery.

I have this lens too and I liked what I got from it. I never used it much on f4 but at f8 and 11 were really sharp images possible...
