Very Impressed with K1

I recently joined the forum having acquired a K1, my first digital Pentax. I'm just getting my feet wet with postings and hope my images post ok. If not, any advice will be appreciated. So far I am loving the K1, it's IQ is fantastic and I've not even shot with what would is considered a decent lens yet! Having been a long time Nikon shooter, I'm learning the controls, but the menus are intuitive and the camera ergonomics are good. It has many features absent from my D810 (GPS, WiFi, IBIS, Pixel Shift and flip out screen), costs $1,000 less and has equal or better IQ, whats not to like! In the following pictures there is a Pano stitched in Lightroom, a massive crop from the pano that shows the fabulous resolution (shot with a cheap 35-80mm lens), you can easily read the Crown Plaza name on one building that can hardly be seen in the full pano! That building is a mile away and the lens was at 60mm.. Lastly a shot of elephant ear leaves because I wanted to see how the sensor handled greens and was impressed how the shades of green came out (I can say that it did much better than my friend's Sony A 7R II with them). The Elephant ears was shot with a Sigma APO 70-300mm Macro 1/100", F7.1, ISO 1600, 70mm,

Welcome to the forum, your very first post hints that what is to come from you will be worth reading!

Amazing how the K-1 paired with such an outdated cheap consumer grade zoom lens can deliver such quality!
