Has Tony bought the K-1 and the D-FA zooms?

Watching the video now. Very useful. Tony and Chelsea are always a pleasure, nice people.

A useful video. Plus Tony is a very charming presenter.

I think it is good that Pentax is getting some mainstream attention. I think he did a pretty good job.

Obviously Tony is only just feeling his way around Pentax camera's - he didn't use the scroll wheel to move between menu tabs, and didn't have it set to recall the last menu position, for instance (maybe intentionally, for newbies?) and he totally neglected the green button.

What I also noticed that shows how unfamilliar are those Canonikon guys with Pentax rational. A good try though and I agree that he did a decent job and he is good presenter.

there were some 'why are defending this guy' comments after his K-1 review - this is why - nobody is perfect, we all make mistakes, but he says what he likes just as forcefully as he says what he doesn't like and produces a lot of useful material.

indeed... think one comment he made was something like "this is possibly the best full frame landscape camera ever made" and that it packs way more features for the money than any other camera, so its not like he was exactly negative about the k1 he does make a lot of really useful videos. i love pentax cameras but just not sure why some pentax users are so overly sensitive when *anything* slightly negative is said about them.

I might have to change my opinion of him. But I don't own a K-1 so I'm not going to watch his tutorial.

Me, I have explained the errors in his format /total light/ lens length BS so many times, I get close to puking at the mention of his name. Oops, I just brought some vomit up into my throat, but don't worry, I'm OK now.

Replying just to mark this for later review. Looks like a pretty comprehensive video.

Make sure you bookmark this one if you haven't. You always get more from a real Pentax user. Check out the video K-1 hand on field test.

This video is more like a review and not an "How to use" tutorial. Does not matter what anyone's opinion of Tony is, as the video he put up is an in depth explanation of Manual. A video like this helps newbies/armatures to easily understand all the camera functions (specially with poorly written Pentax manuals). I doubt any one else has created any such in-depth video for Pentax K-1 yet.

Can you please point me to your arguments against his "errors"? I would be really interested in reading them. Have you made any photo samples to refute what he is saying? Genuinely asking.
