I didn't watch it, but somehow he isn't the person I would choose to explain my K-1 to me.

I love his tutorial videos. They are very in-depth and user friendly. I am glad to see him making tutorials for Pentax gear.

I did not watch the whole thing, but feel that it is a very good tutorial. Good work, Tony.

Tony's tutorials are worth watching at least by us with less experience!

Watching Tony's video is a bit like reading the manual. I mean, it might be useful, but no man would do it - right?

LOL. True, but I did watch the whole thing. After the uproar about his other video, I just wanted to see what this one would be like.

Love your signature, btw.

Is this any better than his first one about K-1 (
) ?
Apparently, few months ago he did not even knew about the FA limiteds and claimed Pentax should not bother with FF since there are these aps-c sigma art lenses you can get ... and now is educating the internet how to use the K-1 ...

It just goes to show haters are gonna hate green eggs and ham without even trying them first.

He did a tutorial for the K-S2 as well.

https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/184-pentax-k-s1-k-s2/300355-tony-northrup-k-s2-tutorial.html

Umm, isn't the first one a preview of the pre-production model? Since when is a preview a tutorial?

Well done! This is a review I've been waiting for, seeing what the K1 can do in the hands of a professional and how it's done. I've learned a lot from Tony in the past on all things photographic (not just cameras) and hope to continue hearing more. Having this video in the box my K1 came in would have saved me a week of stumbling through the vague and skimpy owners manual. Maybe Pentax should have collaborated with him earlier. I still have questions, but I can find my way around the camera a bit better now.

Just watched it and found it very interesting. There certain features he really likes. I have a K-3 and one of my major problems is forgetting I have exposure compensation on, so he has actually helped me out with that problem.

It is well worth a watch

I watched the whole video and in my opinion he made a good job. Even pointed me to a few settings I had missed. Worth the time
