Pentax DA 50 F1.8 support full frame??

Guys, I hope I am wrong but also I hope I am right.

I just tried my pentax da 50 f1.8 and manually set the k1 to full frame mode. I took some the photos, no dark side on the photos.....Then I set it to crop mode, everything is normal..

Does it mean this lens support full frame??!!

Please test!!

Yes, it does support FF with minimal vignetting. The K-1 does not have correction profiles for it in FF mode, however.

Another thing to note is if you're using composition adjustment to shift the sensor, whichever direction you're shifting the frame will have more severe black corners where the image circle stops. You can crop these away such that the final image is far larger than the APS-C option, but you will not have a fully impeded frame.

Bought the DA 50 f1.8 recently. Vignetting is there, but according to the shots I have seen it is even considerably less than with the DA 55 f1.4. I bought a step-down-ring (52 to 49mm) and even with a mounted polarizer I couldn't discover additional vignetting/shading of any sort. So enjoy, the DA 50 f1.8 seems like a great deal!

have you tried the DA 55mm without the hood? with this hood taken from a 28-105mm the vignetting is minimal on the DA 55.

No, I don't own the DA 55 f1.4. I just saw a thread about the DA 55 - which I can't find right now - with test images posted (without hood used). Vignetting seemed stronger to me than with the DA 50.
