K-1 + Yongnuo flashes + What trigger?

What trigger is recommended for the K-1? I have to of the Yongnuo 560 IV flashes and currently use the Cactus Wireless Flash Transceiver V5 system. not really thrilled with them. Very well could be user error. I would rather have one transmitter that fired them instead of a trasnmittier + receivers on each flash. What do you use?

Ar3e you looking for PTTL or just triggering your flash off camera. My thought for off camera work with the Pentax system is to go manual and employ a flash meter and a pair of PocketWizard Plus X transceivers that sell for about $169 in the US.

You could get the Cactus flash with receiver built in to avoid having to use a separate receiver.

You could do the same thing with Yongnuo, some of their flashes have receivers built in, just get a Yongnuo transmitter that works with your flash.

However, if your flash does not have an on board receiver then you must use a pair of transmitter / receivers just like you are currently using.

I use the Cactus v5 system and a Cactus v6 with a Cactus flash and find it works quite well for me.

As Ben0615 mentioned. I use the Yongnuo 560-tx with the 560 IV units on K-1 and it works great. No PTTL but you can set output and zoom to several different groups individually from the camera and you can set up several flashes to each independent group.

Its cheap too. I got mine at B+H for 28 bucks. I think the regular price is 35. so it wont break the bank.

That is what I'm looking for.. to control them at one time and not have to have multiple things all attached and on the stands..

Yep, 560-tx, on K anything. My speedlite bag has 4 YN 560 III's, set and physically labelled A B C and D. I can stay at camera position and fine tune zoom and power individually.

Yes 560-tx. I use Canon version. Only pay attention not to put it on the camera bacwards :-) It get stucked and can be removed only by dismantling 560-tx.

This is the best choice as flash had radio build in.
