K-1 and DA300 + TC?

Hi! Recently got my K-1 and used it yesterday together with my DA300 + TC(1,4).... to my surprise I got a clear vignetting on the pictures?
After having read that the DA300 would work with the K-1, I didn't expect that....
I don't want to use the APS-C settings for this lens, but am using the FF instead to use the full sensor.....
Is there anything I have missed, any ideas?

Best regards from Sweden
Björn

Vignetting is supposed to be the effect of the TC, if that's the HD 1.4x TC.

I think it's a result of the 1.4x TC, not the lens... the DA*300 is fine with "full-frame" as far as I'm aware.

Yup, the TC would be the culprit.

A follow up question....If i where to use the DA300 + TC on my K-1, in APS-C-mode......would I still get the "benefit" of the 1,5 times extension of the focal length, thus "making it" a 300x1,4x1,5 =630 mm?

you get optical 420mm and by using APS-C mode with this setup you get the field of view like that of a 630mm lens on a FF camera / sensor
