Originally posted by Mattox I myself, as a landscape photographer am holding off. I ha e the 24-70 dfa and apart from the very expansive 15-30 am quite dissatisfied with the primes on offer to date. I believe that Pentax will release a nice wide prime this year. Somewhere between 15 and 20mm and fast. Until they release one, I won't settle for old glass on new sensors and won't go for a third party. I am a pentaxian and only want their glass. Wait for October guys. We will get a surprise
Mattox, I mean no disrespect, but the attitudes expressed in your post seem very rigid. If in 2017 you're going to be a Pentaxian, I think flexibility is the watchword. Otherwise, you're better off in Canon or Nikon, maybe Sony, plus the best lenses they offer, Sigma Art lenses, or the Otus line from Zeiss.
