How many of the listed option do you already own? Full Frame Lenses with Autofocus | PentaxForums.com
What about the legacy lenses (FA 20, FA* 24, FA28)? <= 35mm Full Frame Lenses with Autofocus | PentaxForums.com
How many choices do you expect?

I also find the lack of a dedicated L-plate for the K1 with battery grip irritating. I realize there is probably not enough of a demand for this item.
Maybe you can start with this thread: CADed a K-70 L-Bracket. Thoughts? - PentaxForums.com

As with all landscapes autofocus is not so big on the requirement list, so my "Wider Ladies" (I do hope they're not reading this) work away well... “Mistress" (Pentax-A 15mm F3.5), "Good Lady” (Pentax-A 20mm F2.8), “Friendly Lady” (Pentax-A 24mm F2.8), "Deviate Lady" (Pentax 28mm F3.5 Shift) and "Street Lady" (Pentax-A 28mm F2.8).

In addition to the two Venus Optics lenses that are already covered, there is also a Venus Optics 25/2.8 Ultra Macro lens.
It doesn't focus to infinity as it is a very specialised ultra macro lens, but probably should still be added to the database.
It should already be in there, but it must be missing some information since it's not showing up in the search. Checking now...

It was marked as discontinued

Should now be showing up. Thanks for the catch!

Just a matter of limited resources for Pentax to do too much all at once.
To be fair, they do have the DFA15-30 that should tide any 'serious' landscape shooter over till primes are released. ('serious' also mean that they would be willing to fork up the cash for that penultimate performance and versatility of the zoom )

IMHO, there are enough old and new options out there that I can't be bothered to wait or over think it.
The Samyang 14/2.8 works good on the cheap end of things, and the Irix 15/2.4 and Laowa 12/2.8 are good too at the more expensive end.
There are older lenses that work well if one can get a good copy, like the FA20/2.8, FA20-35/4, FA28/2.8, K28/3.5.
More modern ones like the FA31ltd.
In fact, the inexpensive DFA28-105 works really well as a landscape lens (as a wide 28mm and more of course)

Although it took some effort to find my used Pentax DA 20-35/f4 AL, I am very happy with it. Light weight, compact and sharp. A perfect complement to the 28-105mm. Sure it's slow, but if want more bokeh, add a faster, fixed prime (28? 35? 50?) and you still have a relatively lighter weight combo for travel and hiking. The 15-30 is amazing and one of the best wide angles out there in my opinion. I love that lens. I do agree they need to offer more options.

Hopefully they will come out with some wide angle primes in the future. I also prefer a 16-35 f/4 vs a faster lens, so that would be nice. There are a few 3rd part options that seem really nice. I think I’d go with the Irix 15 myself if I used Pentax for landscape or go all out and get the 15-30.

Yes, the 15-30 is the serious option.

Less serious, weighty and expensive is the DA12-24, which effectively is a 17-24 full frame lens.

Really good combination with the DFA 28-105. Add a fast fifty and you could travel the world.

I didn’t realize the 12-24 covered that much range on full frame. That’s my most used range anyway.

There are a few options. There has been a Tokina 20-35 in the Marketplace for awhile now. I have that lens and it is decent lens. I recently picked up a FA20-35 which is a little better and more compact. Tokina also made the 19-35 which is also full frame. If it is wide angle primes that is a different story. Be prepared to pay alot because they are not cheap. The A 20 f.8 still goes for over 500 US Dollars. I am hoping they come out with something like an updated version of the FA20-35. Personally I have no interest in lugging around that 15-30.

Are we talking about wide-angle here, or UWA? In the days of manual focus film, I heard a lot about 28mm, and some about 24mm, but little wider than that - which is probably why few used lenses are wider than that.
